Show Notes
We cover many topics in this episode, including:
- Sometimes people aren’t going to tell you when the building is metaphorically ‘on fire’ - you have to know when to take the initiative and act on your own to navigate life
- ‘Fawning’ is when you react to conflict in a passive non-confrontational way in order to keep the peace, without necessarily standing up for your own needs
- Sometimes you can’t fix things - they need to play themselves out, and you just have to accept that it’s going to be a "bad hour” (/day/week)
- Accepting what ‘is’, is so hard - we spend so much energy trying to fix things that are out of our control
- You need to know when it’s the right time to focus on your work and attaining financial stability, but you also need to know when it’s time to prioritize family and friends and not let the fruits of your labour pass you by
We will never regret showing up in our value system. – Robyne
