Show Notes
We cover many topics in this episode, including:
- The people in your space can have a great impact on your mental well-being
- The ‘I Like’ game - someone sits in the middle of the room, and everyone around them takes turns giving examples of things they truthfully like about that person
- If we want to build trust, we need to speak truthfully to others so that we are also able to to believe what’s being said to us is truthful
- Sometimes you have a special bond with people who have seen you at your worst and still love you, or people who have known you so long that they’ve seen every version of you, bad and good (these people are valuable as ‘knowledge holders’ of your past)
- The joy of telling people how you feel about them in the moment when it counts - letting them know you love and care about them is one of the greatest gifts you can give
- We often tell our loved ones we love them, but we don’t always tell them why we 'like' them
The practice of telling people in the moment how you feel is one of the greatest gifts we can give one another. – Robyne
