Show Notes

We cover many topics in this episode, including:
- Before stressful situations (hosting an event, public speaking, etc.) it can help to create little rituals for yourself to do beforehand that make you feel grounded (wearing a specific item of clothing, listening to a specific song, repeating a mantra, etc.)
- To prevent ‘decision fatigue’ (feeling overwhelmed by having too many decisions to make), it can be helpful to have the decisions for certain recurring situations made in advance so you can default to them when you need to
- When planning your week ahead, it’s helpful to identify one healthy habit you plan to practice for the coming week
- The way you go about building a better relationship with someone you respect in real life is the same technique you need to use to build a better relationship yourself
- Perhaps we should rethink the word ‘self-centered’, and break it down to its literal meaning - centring 'self’ - keeping yourself balanced so you can in turn better support others - rather than the expectation that we feel to be self’less’

When we think about all that we’re doing for others, when do our hearts go into us? When does that light shine back on us? – Robyne
