Show Notes

We cover many topics in this episode, including:
- Monotasking (focusing on one task at a time) is something modern-day living pulls us away from that we should return to
- Peter discusses the concept of moving through ‘bubbles of calmness’, moving through a traumatic period by dealing with it one bubble at a time rather than focusing on the totality of it
- Robyne discusses not waiting too long to enjoy life and hang out and spend quality time with friends, family, etc., and instead to treat those moments with friends as ‘bubbles of calmness’ that help you get through life
- Peter & Robyne discuss how invaluable it is to have friends that go above and beyond to be there for you, as well as ones that have done that over many years
- It may not take much effort, but small kind gestures when someone is in crisis mode can mean the world to them
- Peter & Robyne ponder how to better show up with curiosity when interacting with someone - enter with trust in what they are saying, and understand it’s not personal if they say something that rubs you the wrong way

[Real friendship is] being there in the ins and outs, being seen in our messy, and being known for who we really are. – Peter
