Show Notes
We cover many topics in this episode, including:
- Peter’s grandmother uses the phrase ‘Society of Mutual Adoration’ as a nice way to describe two people who appreciate each other’s time, energy, and gifts
- The essence of aliveness is change - constantly transforming, living, dying, renewing, moving, breaking and coming back together
- Change is scary, but not being able to change is scarier
- We are at greater risk when we don’t change and hold on too tightly
- Change may not immediately feel good, but as you become more comfortable with things changing, you learn to trust that it will all be good in the long run
- Documenting and acknowledging all the things you did and accomplished in the previous month can make your time spent more meaningful
- Your most precious currency is time
- When you give and give and give, you can lose your capacity to receive
It just reminds me that the essence of aliveness, which nature is our most beautiful example of, is change. It’s constantly changing and transforming. – Peter
