Peter and Robyne celebrate fall and the arrival of October, prompting a discussion on the little rituals and spontaneous quirks that might accompany the change in seasons (and the rest of the calendar, too).

- Robyne & Peter discuss all the things they love about October -  the stories, tastes, and the feeling of grounding, that harvest vibe. “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers” - L. M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
- Robyne discusses the importance the character Anne from Anne of Green Gables plays to her, in that being a redhead, she was the first redheaded protagonist she had encountered
- They describe idiosyncratic things they have been known to spontaneously do (e.g., saying a prayer when they pass an ambulance or a deceased animal on the side of the road, always acknowledging unhoused people who are asking for something, saying hello to dogs on the street with a British accent, doing things in threes, counting lines on the sidewalk, tapping the outside of a plane before boarding, etc.)
- Peter describes his ability to notice need around him (an elderly person who needs a seat, etc.), and how he always tries to answers that need when he is able to - always acknowledging the humanness in situations
