Episode 63: One Deep Breath

On today’s episode, Peter and Robyne look for ways to slow down (even momentarily), giving us the chance to reset and realign no matter how busy our schedules might be. Plus, “naming” our circumstances to help us more easily identify solutions.

Today’s surprise question:
What do you love about the place where we’re catching you “in time”?

Show Notes

We cover many topics in this episode, including:
- When coming into awareness and going from one state to the next, it’s always good to take a deep breath to relax and reset your energy
- When you are feeling ‘time starved’, with your schedule packed so tightly together, a breath exercise like the one above can keep you from feeling overwhelmed
- As soon as you label your situation with a term like ‘time starved’, the solution/support emerges - you start realizing you need to take some time for yourself, like little ’time snacks’ to help keep you rejuvenated
- A nap is another quick and powerful way to realign with your physiology - 20 mins for a quick energy boost, 90 mins to repair your emotional weight
- Life tends to work against our physiology, so when we get those micromoments where we realign with our physiology and feel the benefits right away (like taking a nap or a deep breath), it’s encouraging

I hope people know that each and every one of us holds such deep wisdom about what our deepest needs are, and if we do just take that little breath to slow down and check in, the answer will reveal itself. – Robyne
