Show Notes

We cover many topics in this episode, including:
- Peter comments on how the anxiety in today’s youth, and the public in general, seems to be rising based on events in the news as of late
- Pause, write down your list of worries, and decide which ones are in your control, somewhat in your control, or completely outside your control - most of them will be outside your control rattling around in your brain like ‘shoes in the dryer’ - let them go and focus on the things you can at least somewhat control
- If you feel you’re not doing enough with regards to speaking up and being aware of current events, think of the things you can do, like providing support and care for people going through hard times
- If you can’t do the A+ version of self-care, what’s the ‘MVP’ version you can do and have it be enough? It can be as simple as going for a walk
- When global problems that are beyond your scope of understanding cause us anxiety, it’s ok to limit some of your exposure to news about those topics to keep yourself resourced to deal with the problems you feel you can actually assist with
- If you’re feeling overwhelmed and ‘drowning', just get to the shore - then you can question things and learn from what you’ve experienced
- Remember, it’s the ordinary things we do every day that set us up for the extraordinary

It’s what we do each and every day that sets us up for the extraordinary. – Robyne
