Show Notes

We cover many topics in this episode, including:
- Peter describes the positive experience he had running his annual songwriting retreat
- There are AI programs that can create a very good song, but the true value of a song comes through the process of making it - the process of allowing yourself to be vulnerable enough to allow uncertainty and creativity to produce art
- Predictions of AI early on were that AI would give us so much leisure time that we would no longer be motivated to innovate, but we seem to have even less leisure time now.
- There’s a lot of noise about AI taking over our jobs and lives, but remaining aware of how much we rely on AI is one way to keep it in check - AI should be a tool, not a replacement for working with humans
- People weren’t designed to be exposed to so much information and online stimulation

When people are courageous and willing enough to go into process, it’s such a life-giving and beautiful experience. – Peter
