Show Notes

We cover many topics in this episode, including:
- ‘Coping ahead of time’ is identifying what a need is, and addressing that need before a crisis hits, allowing you to prepare yourself for what’s coming
- ‘Heart math’ involves doing heart coherence work, with techniques like mindfulness, heart locks, breathing into your heart, and ‘priming your heart’. It can be used to nurture a loving feeling in advance of meeting up with someone, and it’s been proven to change you and the people around you physiologically
- For an effective way to reconnect with your child after being apart for a while, make an effort to have your eyes light up when seeing them
- To really appreciate the time you spend with people, try to treat every time you say goodbye to someone as potentially the last time you’ll get to see them
- Being open to reinvention sometimes requires you to let go of perceptions you have about yourself and who/where you think you should be in life, and instead acknowledging where your skills and passions are taking you now

Part of making decisions is what we say no to. It’s just as important as what we say yes to. – Peter
