Episode 26: Our Relationships to Our Spaces

On today’s episode of In Time, Peter and Robyne explore the relationships we have with the spaces we occupy and how they impact our emotional health and wellness. They also remind us that our ‘loveability’ should never be contingent on impressive accomplishments, and how practising being present can allow us to be enough for ourselves.

Show Notes

We cover many topics in this episode, including:
- The spaces we occupy have a deep connection to our emotional health and wellness, and fresh starts can be very cathartic
- Sometimes a space you associate with a person you once loved can be hard to revisit because it retains the energy of that relationship
- Your favourite place can be anywhere the people you love are - your home, an airport, a baseball field - wherever 'your people' are
- You should never have to prove yourself with impressive accomplishments in order to receive love
- There is no direct connection between how long you work on something and its quality
- Being present is more important than comparing your experience with others, or comparing your current state with different periods of your past

We will never have enough of what we do not need. – Robyne
