Show Notes
We cover many topics in this episode, including:
- It’s ok to feel alright while witnessing the world hurting, because the world needs people who are feeling alright to fight for the people who are hurting
- Appreciate the people in your life who allow you to slow down, organize your thoughts & feelings, and make space for conversation and community
- Sometimes life feels too busy and hectic for meditation, but often dropping into that headspace actually makes your day more productive
- Overwhelming TO DO lists are fiction - when you put too much on your plate, often less gets done
- We should regularly ask ourselves “What matters most now?” to get our priorities in check and not allow the routine and the minutiae of our daily lives to control the narrative
- We become what we celebrate
When we think back on our lives, it’s really the moments that we celebrated, that when all the other stuff falls away, those moments that we were present to, those are the things that will have made up the fabric of our lives. – Peter
